Re: Beware if you have a Red Lic. Plate

Initially I was going to say that this is a load of rubbish. In my opinion, what goes on with the red plates is a load of rubbish. I can't make sense out of the logic (or lack thereof) of it. If it is illegal to drive a car with the red plates, what do they expect people to do, buy a car or motorbi...

Not even any form of ID? Why? If the police ever ask for ID, I think they're going to regret that decision. If there is a valid, logical reason not to carry any ID at all, I'd like to know what it is.

Re: Consequences of Trump's Win - 5

I had a very difficult time watching the Stahl-Trump interview and listening to Trump's utter shit without vomiting. I thought now, as a break, I would post about someone quadrillions of times more palatable, and quadrillions of times more qualified, than Trump can ever hope to be: http://www.youtub...

Re: Protecting valuables

Is there a definitive answer? Technically the definitive answer is Thai law says the actual passport must be on the foreigner's person at all times. Realistically, hardly anyone carries around their actual passport unless they are going to use it for something. It is wise to at least have a copy of...

Re: Protecting valuables

a short look at YouTube shows just how easy it is to open most of these room safes. Even so, I doubt the typical willing young gent that might be a "guest" in the room would have any clue how to do it. You know how I protect my valuables when traveling? I leave them at home and don't brin...

Re: Canada senate revokes Suu Kyi's honorary citizenship

But what can the UN or the world do to stop it? I don't it's a question of what can the UN do, but more a question of what will the UN do? Most of the time if they do anything at all, it is sanctions. It is certainly rare for the UN to send in military force, but in this case it is my opinion that ...
