While that is true, when something does happen it's better to at least have a good idea where to look. I'm still intrigued by the disappearance of Amelia Earhart.

See also: https://edition.cnn.com/2014/04/25/world/asia/malaysia-airlines-flight-370-beacons/index.html I should say I became aware of this story because someone on another board sent me a PM and gave me the link. While I'm sure he wouldn't mind at all and would have no objection if I identified him...

Re: Bangkok Airways - passenger safety improvements

It's a shame this technology was not available when that Malaysia Airlines flight 370 disappeared in 2014. To this day that plane has not been found and recovered and the cause of the disappearance and crash is not known. There is plenty of speculation, but nobody knows what happened. If this techno...

Re: Florida High School Shooting and Gun Control

Yet another school shooting - in Florida. The shooter is in custody. There was only one victim, who is alive and was shot in the ankle. At the time of this post this is breaking news. I'm sure much more news will soon follow. At least nobody was killed this time. ____________________________________...

Re: Hong Kong Celebrity Chef relocated to Pattaya

the restaurant itself is close to the Royal Cliff Thanks for clarifying that before I went out to the lake on a wild restaurant chase. I looked at the menu on his web site. The prices seem reasonable enough, but the menu choices don't particularly impress me. I'm sure I'll get around to trying it, ...

Re: Hong Kong Celebrity Chef relocated to Pattaya

Sounds good to me. The lake is in my area. The article says he planned to open March 28, so he ought to be open by now. When I get a chance I'll go out there and see if I can find it. I'll also take a look at the menu. If not too expensive, I'll give it a try. I'll try to remember to get the GPS coo...

I did say "probably." That gets me off the hook if I turn out to be wrong.

It depends on where you are. For example, if you're around where the Arabs are, my promise would be about as good as promises from Trump . . .
