Is it only the fishing boats you are looking at Dodger? ;)

Re: Thailand's push toward "Cashless Society"

I was in Shanghai last year and my Chinese friend paid for nearly every purchase with his phone. The only exception was some street food. I doubt if the go go bars here in Thailand would like this system as they would surely prefer cash earnings but maybe even they will change to survive with their ...

Re: smog in pattaya

There was three days of smog and definitely air pollution from an unknown source which fortunately has now cleared. I was quite ill for two days with upper respiratory problems.

Re: Eros bar - Sunee Plaza - update

It wouldn't make much sense to spend money on renovations only to close a couple months later. The bathroom tiles look good but they could get a maintenance guy in and fix the broken urinal and flooded toilet if Eros is closed temporarily. Maybe a few new sofas as well or would that detract from th...

Finish or demolish? Waterfront Suites near Bali Hai

I walk past this building near Bali Hai pier most days and wonder if it will ever be completed. Does anyone believe it is possible to complete or will this be just another "ghost" building in Thailand? To demolish it would be a major job and look how long they are taking to demolish that h...

No show this week either,. An announcement about cancellations on their Facebook page would be useful. Maybe a less expensive version of the show might work.

Re: Any TM30 update?

I reported at immigration recently after returning from Australia. I will go earlier in the day next time as clients were lined up from the entrance door to inside the small reporting office on the left at Jomtiem immigration. I have just been to Rayong for 3 days and i would rather pay a fine than ...

Re: Be Careful at the bank

I don't get all the paperwork required at K Bank.I waited an hour last week just to get served for a simple enquiry but there is no fast lane. The customer service ladies at Pattaya Tai do a great job under pressure but spend most of their time taking copies of documents and getting signatures.

Re: Groping

I get groped every night i go to Jomtien Complex and i hope it continues. On a serious note i think the accusations are ruining many lives and the careers of the persons accused are finished whether the accusations are proven or not. It has started in Australia now with John Jarratt the lead actor i...
