Correct, but at least Sunee & Boystown offer the option of a gogo bar, which some customers prefer. It would be a little bit sad if the gogo bars died out.

Re: No Problem For Nazi Symbols in Thailand

The use of the symbol in Asia predates Hitler and there is no reason at all why people on the other side of the world should stop using the symbol because of European events over 70 years ago. The flags are, of course, a different matter, with obvious Nazi connections. Not ideal, but do remember fre...

Re: Kawaii go-go bar - Boystown - closed

I offed 2 lads at Kawaii boys on my 2015 trip & 0 since then. On the last visit, they had just one boy who was just about of interest & the rest were slightly chubby, with no chance of collecting an off fee or enticing me back to the premises. The number one requirement is to have boys that ...

Re: Another long standing bar bites the dust

I was invited in there several years ago & Oud sat me down with some nice young gentleman, although not quite my type. We chatted for a while & then I departed, as finding some cute gogo boy at Euro Boys (or somewhere similar) was more my priority. Anyway, I walked past about 1 year later &a...

Re: Pizza delivery man faces deportation - What's your opinion?

Generally, if someone enters a country illegally & then breeds, I don't think they should be entitled to stay as a result of breeding.

I also don't think offspring of illegal immigrants should be automatically entitled to stay either.

Re: What would you do?

Firstly, congratulations on making a stand against this piece of dirt. Starbucks provides facilities for paying customers & they should not stand by whilst some yob ruins it for everyone else. Ideally you should go to the police, or better still, insist Starbucks do so. Hopefully he would be pro...

Re: SIA to Relaunch New York/Singapore Route

I fail to understand why the Concorde SST was not the beginning of an adventure in the skies instead of a failure. 1 Cost is still a major factor. Supersonic flight guzzles more fuel & therefore is expensive. When it comes down to it, most people were happy to pay less for a subsonic flight. 2 ...

Re: SIA to Relaunch New York/Singapore Route

Unless I am mistaken, seat width usually goes up in Premium economy, although perhaps only by an inch. So far, the width has always been OK for me in Premium Economy. The 38" pitch is OK too. Any increase in pitch would only be of significant value if it were combined with more recline, to perm...

Re: Does anybody here know about Kombucha

I find probiotic tablets help prevent the flatulence issue & judging by customer reviews, other people find the same. I also go for home made yoghurt, which can easily be made by microwaving some UHT milk up to about 40C and mixing in a little live yoghurt from the previous batch. Even on holida...

Re: The Temptations in Back Pockets

In central Barcelona, those pockets would be guaranteed to be empty within seconds. In London, he would probably survive longer than in Barcelona. Possibly even a few hours or days. In Bangkok, well I get the impression pickpocketing isn't a common problem. The fact that he leaves the stuff in the b...
